Finished the Facilitator’s Handbook, the Student Workbook, the sign-in sheet, exit survey, and all printing needed for Saturday morning. We have 5 registrants this time, one of them being my sister, Joanne, who will serve as my assistant. It will be an early and a long day. We’ll arrive to set up at 7:15, begin at 8:00 and finish at 5:00. This is an experiment, as was the 8-week version of Boundaries I taught last April. Funny, the conclusion then was that 8 weeks wasn’t enough time to cover the material and here I am shortening it into a single day! But, I truly believe this format will get the wonderful message of the book into more people in a way they can use it. Weekly meetings on weeknights seems to almost guarantee losing 50% of the students or more by the half way point. That doesn’t benefit anyone.
Tomorrow, I’ll go to the church office to make copies of the student handbook and then head back here to assemble them and review the Facilitator’s handbook…again. And again.
