Mission

Perissos Resources is committed to cultivating and preserving a spirit of excellence in the lives of others by equipping them with them with  the resources to make responsible choices consistent with biblical principles.

Vision

Perissos Resources endeavors to serve Jacksonville, FL and its surrounding cities in a hands-0n way.  Our online presence allows us to reach worldwide.  In both ways, we are constantly striving to make available the very best resources, such as:

• Affordable private life coaching (in-person, telephone, and Skype sessions are all available);
• Personalized spiritual formation ministry
• A robust catalog of multi-media learning experiences;
• Referrals to health, educational, financial, legal and spiritual resources;
• Books and other media carefully selected for their accuracy and integrity;
• Online resources for personal and spiritual development

While our programs are carefully selected for their consistency with biblical principles, we welcome everyone regardless of their personal faith or absence of faith,  believing there are certain universal truths that, when applied, will consistently result in benefit.

We encourage our clients to explore their options for improving their methods of choice-making (which may include their beliefs and the reasons for those beliefs).  Our express purpose is to be engaged daily in helping create a community of a unified, righteous-living people.

It is our belief that when we make free, responsible choices for our body, soul, and spirit, we take on the image and likeness of God as He created us to do. It is our prayer that those who do not yet know their Heavenly Father will discover Him in this process and those who do will grow into an ever-deepening relationship with Him.

Statement of Faith

The Trinity

We believe there is one living and true God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, each fully and completely God.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary being fully human and fully God. He lived a sinless life and through His substitutionary death, atoned for our sins.  We further believe that, just as Christ came to earth once to bear the sins of the world, so He will return again to gather the elect and to usher in the resurrection of all things – the just to eternal life and the unjust to eternal conscious torment and separation from the love and grace of God.

The Holy Scriptures

We believe all of the Scriptures (the Bible consisting of Old and New Testaments) are divine rather than merely human in origin, are an infallible repository of redemptive revelation and that they serve as the final authoritative source for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness.

Man’s Condition

We believe that man, created in the image of God, rebelled against His Creator and as a result incurred spiritual death, which is separation from God.  We also believe that all are sinners and share in common the consequences of sin. We define “sin” as “any thought, word, deed, or state of being that fails to meet God’s standard of holiness and perfection.

Salvation

We believe that eternal life is the free gift of God, available to all and made possible by the redeeming blood of Christ, shed on the cross; and that one can only be saved by true repentance and faith in the finished work of Christ.

The Church

We believe the Church is the living spiritual Body of Christ, of which all believers are members.

Christian Life Coaching Code of Ethics

These are the rules and standards governing the conduct of any Certified Christian Life Coach operating through the ministry of Perissos Resources, Inc.

• We believe unwaveringly that Jesus Christ is our Lord and our Savior.
• We consider it our priority and our duty to uphold the teachings of Jesus as found in the Holy Bible in our own lives and actions, as well as within our relationships with anyone we coach.
• We are in agreement with scripture, which tells us that “to whom much was given, of him much will be required.” In response, we pledge that our words and actions shall never lead anyone to doubt our faith or their own.
• We are committed to the responsibility to point to the Holy Scriptures as God’s inerrant plan and as the final authority when our clients express uncertainty, confusion, or lack of direction and especially when our clients’ direction appears to be aiming away from the truth found in God’s Word.
• We hold fast to the policy that a coach’s relationship with a client should be Christ-centered and client-focused with the primary objective of helping the client identify their God-given gifts, passions, and values to arrive at a clear picture of their God-given purpose, and equipping them to live truly to it.
• We consider it our duty to protect the confidentiality of everyone we coach. Unless our client releases us in writing to share their information with specific parties or maintaining such confidentiality conflicts with prevailing law or court order, their records will be protected. Any one providing office support services to Perissos Resources is required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement holding them to this same policy.
• We maintain an ongoing commitment to the goal of personal and professional excellence, pledging to maintain integrity in all business and personal dealings, performing as we commit to perform, to include referring clients to other appropriate professionals if their needs do not match our competencies.
• We will, always give appropriate credit for materials from external sources used in the coaching process, respecting copyrights, trademarks and intellectual property.
• We gratefully allow the Holy Spirit to lead every coaching session and each coach believes we must be always ready to speak the truth in love as we are guided by what He calls to remembrance.

Financial Support

Perissos Resources, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation.  Our programs are made possible in large part by the generous, tax-deductible donations of those who share our vision for encouraging others toward excellence in their health, emotional well-being, and spiritual development.  If you have benefited in any way from your time visiting this website or as a client of this ministry, and wish to demonstrate your gratitude, we ask you to prayerfully consider supporting this ministry.

The general fund helps keep this website running and our ministry thriving.  As well, your donation may help benefit clients experiencing financial hardship.  Each client is individually evaluated for their level of readiness to take full advantage of the benefits of our programs as the primary consideration in their eligibility for receiving discounts or scholarships from us .  Fund and scholarship dollars are distributed where they are expected to make the most difference based on these evaluations.

• Our Scholarship Program is for those who would benefit from our classes and seminars but are unable to to afford the tuition, registration fees, or materials.
• The Life Coaching Fund help individuals receive personalized encouragement and guidance in developing themselves into better decision-makers.
• We also have a Benevolence Fund that helps our active clients meet some of their immediate financial needs while they are developing themselves.  We are doing all we can to keep our pricing at a level that keeps our programs accessible to most people, including discount packages.

We are always grateful for those who are willing to prayerfully consider making monthly contributions to the operating expenses of Perissos Resources. Just $20 per month from those who feel led by God to sow into this ministry can quickly add up and help us grow strong!
