In the first four months of 2009, I have completed training for two excellent programs that will be ready to run in Jacksonville this fall. Focus on the Family's astoundingly high-quality and deeply thought-provoking DVD study, "The Truth Project," will be available to groups of 12 or so beginning this September. We’re About to Go Global!
We had a very productive board of directors meeting last night. It was announced that we are officially incorporated and have all of our documentation in place to do business ethically and appropriately. But, there is much work ahead. The Spring/Summer 2009 program catalog was finalized. It was trimmed to only the programs that are 100% ready to deliver right now, though there are several other exciting additions in the hopper for the Fall semester. 2009 is Off To An Exciting Start!
As of February 3, 2009, Perissos Resources is officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, with The Missionary Church International as its parent church, providing this status by making us an affiliate. We have submitted our articles of incorporation to the State of Florida, finalized our bylaws, and held our first board of directors meeting! We are working on the website, which currently includes a way for visitors to sign up for our email updates as well as make donations to the organization. Our Spring 2009 catalog is nearly finished and will be published here on the website as well as distributed locally within the next month.
