How You Can Help

We’re freshly incorporated and fully dedicated to the vision God has placed before us. In order for Perissos Resources to grow into the full-fledged community center it was meant to be, this vision must be shared with that community. We believe there are many who will recognize the need for a gap to be filled in our local cities and that they will demonstrate their confidence in this ministry by supporting it. If you wish to be among our early supporters, here are a few ways you can participate while watching this seedling grow strong and tall:

Financial Support

Perissos Resources, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation. Our programs are made possible by the generous, tax-deductible donations of those who share our vision for a healthy, whole Jacksonville. We ask you to prayerfully consider supporting this ministry. Here are just some of the ways you can partner with us to help keep Perissos Resources operating in your life and in our community.

You may indicate that you would like to provide Scholarship funds for those who would benefit from our programs but are unable to register due to financial hardship. Or, you can donate to our Life Coaching fund to help individuals receive personalized encouragement and guidance in developing themselves into better decision-makers. We also have a Benevolence fund that helps our clients meet some of their immediate financial needs while they are developing themselves. We are always grateful for those who are willing to prayerfully consider making monthly contributions to the operating expenses of Perissos Resources. Just $25 per month from those who feel led by God to sow into this ministry can quickly add up and help us grow strong!

Are you over 70 and 1/2 years old with an IRA and considering your stewardship options? A very special window of opportunity has opened up as a result of the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act.  A law passed on October 8, 2008 states that for the calendar year 2009, those meeting the above criteria can now make charitable donations directly from their IRAs without paying tax on the distribution!  What an exciting thing to consider as you review your mandatory IRA minimum required distribution options for 2009!  Perissos Resources would be exceptionally grateful if you would consider us as your charitable organization of choice for this year as part of this special program!  Please consult your attorney or tax advisor for more information about whether a gift of IRA assets is beneficial to you.

Non-Cash Gifts

We are in need of a building to call home, above all. If you have commercial real estate interests and wish to offer us a space while we are raising funds, we would be most grateful. We are also praying for a storage space, office furniture and machines, and an increase in our on-hand class materials so we can be ready to bring our programs to the community at a moment’s notice. You may contact us by email for a detailed list of our specific material needs.

Networking

If you know someone who may be interested in joining this ministry team, volunteering for a commitee, bringing our programs to their church or group, or in supporting us, please  spread the word! Your referral and faith in our vision is among the things we need most today.
