Lynn Erhorn, President
Born and raised in Long Island, New York, Lynn and her husband Craig have been residents of Jacksonville since 2005. Lynn has over 20 years experience in the corporate sector specializing in training, communications, events planning, and project management. She gave her life to the Lord Jesus Christ in 1997. She is a Christian Life Coach, board certified by the American Association of Christian Counselors and is an ordained minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ by The Missionary Church International in South Carolina.
Lynn was trained by Dr. Joyce Shelton’s Women of Excellence Ministry in “Facilitator Lay Leadership for Small Groups” and “Facilitator Training in Boundaries” and has served as a teacher/facilitator for the ministry. She completed the Leadership Equipping Track at New Life Christian Fellowship and the LIFE Group Leadership training at Southpoint Community Church, serving in ministry upon completion of each. She has delivered the best-selling “Boundaries” program to Jacksonville residents in several formats, from a 16-week course with small group support to a weekend seminar, all with overwhelmingly positive feedback.
In 2008, Lynn made the commitment to serve the Lord full time and formed Perissos Resources ministry into a fully-equipped resource center for the local and online communities. In 2009, she was trained by Focus on The Family to facilitate the outstanding program, “The Truth Project,” and partnered with Reclaiming the Mind to bring their seminary-level systematic theology training, “The Theology Program,” to the Jacksonville area.
Lynn is currently ministering to clients as a life coach locally and remotely, specializing in the areas of spiritual discipleship, life-event transitions, and family relationship building. She is pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Counseling with Brewer Christian College and Graduate School.
Lynn is constantly evaluating resources for their integrity and benefit to those seeking to stretch themselves toward excellence, and is personally developing seminars and media events tailored to this ministry’s vision.

He became a certified lay speaker in the United Methodist Church and filled pulpits for vacationing pastors. He has also led worship and music ministries. He completed the Leadership Equipping Track at New Life Christian Fellowship, and is currently playing a lead role in music ministry.
With over 35 years of business experience, Craig has been involved in corporate management and consulting for his entire career. He began in manufacturing operations management, and later moved into Information Technology. He spent 9 years in New York City working for Coopers & Lybrand Consulting, advising some of the biggest names in corporate America – from AT&T to Unilever. He has been published numerous times, and is the author of a business strategy book that is still being sold 15 years after publication.
Craig has a BA from Ohio Wesleyan University, and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.
Jill Hawthorne, Secretary
Jill Hawthorne lives to empower others. With over 17 years of active full-time ministry-based counseling, Jill has served as a youth leader, summer camp counselor, college ministry leader and has a passion for ministry in pastoral care & counseling. After finishing her psychology degree at Florida Atlantic University she moved north to Jacksonville in 1995 to marry long time best friend Kurt Hawthorne. As a minister-in-training at that time, Kurt’s desire to use music to inspire change in others would soon place Jill in the permanent role of assisting women, couples and youth into more secure places of personal health and well being. Convinced that psychology training alone was insufficient preparation for this ministry, she completed a second Bachelor’s Degree with Logos Bible College and a certification program in prayer ministry with Elijah House School of Ministry. Today, she loves using the tools & experience she has accumulated to help others see trends, patterns, roots and cycles in behavior that may be keeping them from reaching their full potential.
Now a mother of 3 boys, Jill continues to pour out essential life skills to them through home-schooling, and provides ongoing leadership training to the music ministry at Southpoint Community Church alongside her husband, who is the worship pastor there. She serves as an Associate Life Coach with Perissos Resources and is an essential part of helping keep the ministry’s administrative office running smoothly.
Dr. Joyce Shelton, Treasurer
Dr. Joyce Shelton founded Women of Excellence Ministry in 1995 and has developed a solid reputation for quality, caring service to the women of Jacksonville and surrounding areas.
