Brian Layman is an independent web development consultant. He specializes in creating and hosting unique WordPress sites at eHermits, Inc. As a featured WordPress Developer in “WordPress for Dummies (2nd edition)” by Lisa Sabin-Wilson, Brian has been able to assist clients such as b5media, Borland International, Rhett and Link Inc. and Darren “Problogger” Rowse in delivering custom website solutions. A guest speaker for the BlogWorld and New Media Expo in Las Vegas (2007 & 2010), Brian also hosts the monthly North East Ohio WordPress Meetup and is a founder of WordCamp: North Coast.
Regularly serving in church leadership roles, he currently chairs the Leadership Team for the Hartville Church of the Brethren in Ohio. In 2009, Brian lead a year long community outreach effort hosting home, job-seeking, and interview skills. Any given Sunday, he’ll be found working the sound board, serving as Worship Lead or on occasion teaching from behind the pulpit.
